History of the Festival

There has been a Music Festival in Inverness since 1922. It stopped during the war years and for a time in the sixties and early seventies but was started again by Mr Curtis Craig.

Some of the trophies presented belonged to the Northern Counties Music Festival. Our earliest being presented in 1922.
