Curtis Craig
Introduced in 1994, this competition was created in
memory of Curtis Craig who organised the Inverness Music Festival for
many years. Winners of the classes listed below are eligible for entry,
provided their winning mark is at, or above, distinction level. Winners
of these classes not attaining a Distinction mark may be admitted at the discretion of the Festival
Chairman. Entrants will compete against
each other before two adjudicators and the winner will receive the Curtis Craig
Trophy and a
commemorative gold medal. All other performers will receive a
silver medal.

one class may choose one of these in which to perform.
Although not part of the competition, the winner of the Curtis Craig Memorial
Quaich for
Piping is also invited to perform on this occasion. |
